Can we construct a hot air balloon with just tissue paper, glue, wire and hot air.

Using popsicle sticks, masking tape and a rubber band can we construct a catapult that will launch a marshmallow more than 10 feet?  

Students experienced the difference between gravitational and elastic potential energy.  We inverted a dropper popper, placed a ping pong ball inside the cavity, and dropped the popper onto the floor with the ping pong ball on top…then the madness began.
